My Approach

I believe the most powerful and effective Healing happens when the body and mind are both invited into the process.

In my work, I hold the belief that the often neglected body carries not only our pain and stress, but also the wisdom and capacity to heal. When we create the right environment - through safety, attunement, and skilled support - the nervous system will naturally begin to unwind, and lasting change becomes possible.

I don’t believe in forcing transformation. I believe in meeting you where you are, listening closely to what your system is communicating about where you may be stuck, and offering tools that support your own movement toward regulation, resilience, and wholeness.

How I Work

Our work together begins with building trust—not just between us, but within your own system. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, or simply feeling stuck, I help guide that process by showing up in each session with presence, curiosity, and care.

I pay close attention to what you say and how your nervous system is functioning —not just what you say, but how your body is responding. Sometimes this means slowing down. Sometimes it means learning to track subtle shifts in sensation, emotion, or energy. And sometimes it means letting the story completely behind and focusing entirely on how to navigate what's happening inside you. We work together to follow your body’s cues, feelings, and sensations, always at a pace that feels manageable.

That said, sessions can look different for different people. For some, therapy may feel more like traditional talk therapy—centered around conversation, reflection, and meaning-making. For others, the work may move away from story altogether and focus directly on the internal experience of the body and nervous system: sensations, impulses, patterns of activation and settling. This kind of work often bypasses words and connects more directly to the parts of the brain where trauma and stress are stored. We let the work be shaped by what feels most accessible, respectful, and useful for you.

I view therapy as a collaborative process. You bring your lived experience; I bring tools, guidance, and a steady presence. Together, we create a space where your body and mind can begin to reconnect and heal.

Modalities I Integrate

Over the years, I’ve trained in several approaches that support somatic and trauma healing. These modalities aren’t used in a one-size-fits-all way. Instead, I draw from them as needed to support your goals, your body’s rhythms, and the unique path of your healing.

• Somatic Experiencing® – Helps release stored trauma and stress by completing incomplete fight, flight, or freeze responses

• EMDR – Supports the brain and body in processing unresolved memories and emotional blocks

• Neuroaffective and SE Touchwork – When appropriate and with prior consent, supports safety, understanding, and a deep regulation in the body.

• Internal Family Systems -

• EFT Tapping – A self-regulating tool that helps reduce emotional intensity, decrease fight or flight in the brain, and quickly process through blocks.

• Yoga Therapy – Uses movement and breathwork to encourage regulation and control of your mind and body.

What You Can Expect

Therapy with me is about telling your story verbally, and learning to listen to, discover, and trust your body’s story.

In our sessions, you can expect:

• A grounded, nonjudgmental space

• Respect and attention to your boundaries and a pacing that is right for you

• Practices that support emotional regulation and bodymind awareness

• A collaborative relationship that honors your full experience: mental, emotional. and physical

You don’t need to know how to “do it right.” You just need to show up. I’ll meet you there.

A Gentle Invitation

Healing takes time, and it doesn’t always move in straight lines. But I believe that with the right support, real and lasting change is possible. If you’re curious about working together, I welcome you to reach out.
